Ikai is a make-to-order brand and each piece is made especially for you when ordered on our online store.
Our usual dispatch timeline is 4–5 weeks. However, during “The Unusual Sale”, all orders will be dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis. Estimated dispatch timelines during the sale period are 6–8 weeks, depending on the volume of orders received. Larger and customised orders may require additional time for preparation and dispatch.
Once ordered, you will receive an email confirming the details of the order – product(s) ordered and delivery time. All orders are made in-house and shipped from our studio in New Delhi, India and will be delivered to the shipping address mentioned at checkout.
We ship worldwide using our trusted delivery partners DHL and Fedex.
Once shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with the tracking number and link to shipment partner website for tracking. Your order can be tracked using the tracking number on the shipping agency’s website.
SHIPPING WITHIN INDIA
We offer free shipping for all orders within India through registered courier companies.
For deliveries within India taxes and duties are included in the price of the products listed on the website.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
The shipping cost is calculated at the time of placing the order depending on the destination, weight and volume of the products purchased. We charge between INR 3000 to INR 4500 for international shipping. We also offer free shipping for orders above INR 50,000/-
For deliveries outside India, custom duties and local taxes are not included in your order, and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid at checkout. These have to be paid by the customer to our shipping partner (DHL, Fedex etc.) at the time of shipment delivery. The amount of duties and taxes depend on the policies of your destination country.
In case our shipping partner is unable to deliver the shipment due to non-response from the consignee, non-payment of customs duties and taxes by the consignee, refusal to accept the shipment, or incorrect contact details/address provided by the customer, and the shipment is returned to us in India, all return shipping charges, customs duties, and local taxes incurred will be borne by the customer.
In the event that the shipment cannot be returned to India, or the return charges are prohibitively high, we reserve the right to abandon the shipment in the destination country, and no refund will be applicable in such cases.
CHANGES / CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel your order, you may write to us within 24 hours of placing the order at care@ikai.in. The payment will be returned in the same mode as received within 14 working days. Once an order goes into production, cancellation and refund is not possible.
Please note that during “The Unusual Sale”, we are unable to process any cancellation requests once an order has been placed.
UNFORESEEN DELAYS
Please note that our delivery timeline does not include unforeseen delays due to natural disasters, war, calamity, epidemic or situations outside of our control. In such circumstances, your order will be processed and dispatched after our production and supply chain resumes smoothly when any of the above events have passed.
